Knott's Berry Farm & Theme Park (20 min)
In 1933, farmer Walter Knott launched Knott's Berry Farm. During the Depression, his wife set up a roadside stand selling pies, preserves, and home-cooked chicken dinners. Within a year she was selling 90 meals a day. Lines became so long that Walter decided to create an Old West Ghost Town as a diversion for waiting customers. The Old West Ghost Town eventually evolved into an amusement park and now offers attractions such as Camp Snoopy and high-tech rides, such as the new Xcelerator and Joe Cool's GR8 SK8.

With rides, interactive attractions, shows and building projects, Legoland mixes education, adventure, and fun in this first park of its kind in the U.S.

San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park® (90 min)
